Workshop on Self Defense
Seven days workshop on self defense for girls of VI to IX and XI was inaugurated by District Collector Dr Bharti Dixit. She was welcomed by Principal Dr Arunesh Saxena. Along with her , Shri Hans Raj Meena ADEO Jhalawar and Shri Kripa Shankar Sports Officer also graced the occasion. Group of girls sang school song to welcome guests.
In her address Collector Madam told girls that this was my dream project and girls must learn self defense as everywhere parents or police can't be present so they must
be having such kind of skills which can help them in tough times and also they can become self dependent. In first phase schools of city will be covered followed by blocks and then in colleges. Principal Dr Arunesh Saxena thanked Madam for taking such initiative for the girls. Our School is always ready to organize such workshops as self defense is very much required for girls in today's scenario. Later the girls were trained by Govt trainers Mrs Sunita and Mrs Asha. The workshop will end on 17th February 2023. The function was anchored by English HOD Mr Piyush Mathur.
